Feedback

“Can I give you some feedback about that?”

Does that question send your spirits sinking down into your boots? Especially when they launch into the feedback without really checking whether you’re ready to receive it! And how about when you’re asked to give feedback? Do you make a list of everything they’re doing wrong, deliver it with a cheery smile on your face and then feel really bad afterwards?

Clean Language and Agile Coaches Sarah Scarratt and Johan Nordin will share the Clean Feedback model, taken from the work of Dr Caitlin Walker and part of the Systemic Modelling Change Cycle. They will be considering the difference between evidence, inference and impact and how our state matters when we’re giving and receiving feedback. And they'll be asking how participants can use this with their teams at work, as well as at home with friends and family. It will be a participatory workshop and it will be great to see and hear as many participants as possible. By the end of the session, you’ll have some tips for delivering solid, evidence-based feedback that is easy to take on board AND some information about how your state matters

To dive deeper on this topic join us for an exploratory workshop on Thursday 30th June 09:00-12:00 BST / 10:00-13:00 CEST.

We'll be running this session twice if you are not able to join this session, join Rachel and Sarah on Monday 20th June 13:00-16:00 BST / 14:00-17:00 CEST.

Tickets are priced on a sliding scale:

  • If you are purchasing tickets for yourself, the price is on a sliding scale based on your income.

  • If your company is paying, the price is dependent on its charitable status.
