Breathing for Resilience (+ Relaxation)
Would you like to develop some techniques and strategies for overcoming day-to-day stress and to become more regulated, focused and energised?
A specially designed 60 (or 90) minute workshop for ITN employees where participants will learn:
• The anatomy of the breath and how to breathe with the diaphragm.
• The health benefits of different breathing techniques.
• How to breath for relaxation, anxiety, exercise and performance.
By the end of the session participants will:
• know how to use the breath to stay calm, grounded and how to regulate the nervous system, mind and emotions.
• will experience feeling clearer, more focussed and energised.
• be able to use breath to clear the brain fog.
• take away a practical and easy to remember skill set to help manage stress and anxiety.
• be able to unlock more of their potential as they learn to bypass the unhelpful thoughts that can waste time and energy.
Delivered by Victoria Cooper with over 20 years experience of teaching yoga, meditation and breath-work & Rachel Gilmore who is an experienced leadership coach and facilitator who supports her clients to use the breath to get clarity of thought and behaviour change.
This session is best when delivered to a team or a group of people who work together as they can then encourage, support and remind each other to take what they have learned into their day-to-day work.
A 90 minute workshop allows participants to take a deeper exploration, gives more time to experience the breathing techniques and open discussion and questions.
It is suggested that groups are no more than 12 people to allow for individual time and attention.
